Misa is 27, and she lives in Kayunga.  She was attacked by an unknown person on her way back home, she never got to know the reason why she was attacked. After being burnt, her fingers were joined together, and doctors tried to release them through a surgery. She is currently a single mother of one boy.

In 2018, Misa took part in a jewelry and table mat training, held by our partner Hope Care Rescue Mission.  She had never made jewelry before this. During this training, she was taught how to handle scissors and also how to make use of her hand which was disfigured by the acid.
